The short video presentations will inform park visitors of the heat in summer and how to take proper precautions when visiting Death Valley National Park. The resulting products will be seen by over two million people annually and lead to enhanced visitor experiences. Project Objectives This will produce two park films that engage with virtual visitors on current issues the park is facing. There will be two videos produce and each video will be approx. 7 minutes in length on the danger of the heat during the hot summer months at Death Valley National Park. These videos will be posted to social media and NPS websites. Death Valley National Park has a thermometer at the visitor center. Many park visitors like to take pictures of them at the temp sign. The exhibit will be designed to inform the visiting public on the summer temperatures and provide information on safer locations to visit within the park during the summer heat. The messaging placed around the temp sign will show that if you go up in elevation, the temperature is cooler.
