About this opportunity

Interns will assist the Bureau of Land Management, Division of Cultural, Paleontological Resources, and Tribal Consultation, on priority museum collections projects. The main activities include researching and compiling data on BLM museum collections, highlighting scientific studies and public educational programs, and identifying opportunities to market among partner museums and universities. Additionally, interns may evaluate the status of documentation necessary for compliance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), utilize GIS to plot, view and evaluate paleontological resource information, research and draft guidance and procedure documents, or develop training materials, and educational content for social media and program websites.
