About this opportunity
The Mosaics in Science Internship program is a collaborative effort between the National Park Service and Environment for the Americas. The program was created in 2013 with 12 interns placed at 12 NPS sites. The program has proven to be very successful, and now in its sixth year, has expanded to 24 interns in parks across the country. Interns are recruited by the recipient and their selection is based on education and skills that align with the needs of host sites. Interns gain valuable, practical experience and mentorship in their fields of study and host sites gain the capacity to complete mission driven natural resource science projects.
