About this opportunity
NCSHPO and NPS will partner to select an organization that will be responsible for developing economic and programmatic measurements to best analyze the impact of the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) from inception until the present. The HPF provides state, tribal, and local governments with financial resources to enable both public and private preservation efforts. The HPF has aided in the rehabilitation of significant historic sites and helped to revitalize communities. The preservation of these sites and objects strengthens state, tribal, and local economies by creating jobs and supporting heritage tourism. This study would analyze the economic impacts of the HPF to this national private and public preservation network.
