About this opportunity

This project will produce a Thematic Framework for the history of Civil Rights in the National Capital Region. In 2002 (rev. 2008), the National Park Service released Civil Rights in America: A Framework for Identifying Significant Sites. This study will follow the framework established in the 2002 report to specifically examine the history of civil rights in Washington, DC, and those parts of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia in the National Capital Region.
