About this opportunity

Objectives of the Internships in Marine Geography Program are to: â¿¢ encourage a diverse group of young adults to study and pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields; â¿¢ provide meaningful and relevant science-based internships to individuals from underrepresented groups in STEM fields; â¿¢ introduce program participants to science careers at NOAA; and â¿¢ increase relevancy, diversity, and inclusion in the NOAA workplace.
