Building Technologies Office intends to restrict eligibility for this Funding Opportunity Announcement to entities other than DOE/NNSA Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and DOE Government-Owned, Government-Operated laboratories (GOGOs). FFRDCs and GOGOs cannot be prime recipients, but are eligible to apply as Subrecipients. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)/Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLC is restricted from applying to this FOA entirely.

The purpose of this Notice is to provide potential applicants advance notice that the Building Technology Office, on behalf of the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) titled, "Building America Industry Partnerships for High Performance Housing Innovation". NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH THIS NOTICE. Please do not submit questions or respond to this Notice of Intent. Prospective applicants to the FOA should begin developing partnerships, formulating ideas, and gathering data in anticipation of the issuance of this FOA. It is anticipated that this FOA will be posted to EERE Exchange November 2015.
